It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Irene Cunningham (McKercher). On her own time and fighting until the very end, Mom died peacefully on Saturday, November 14th at 12:03am.
Mom leaves to mourn her children Timothy (Mary), Laura (Bill), Gary (France), Deborah (Pierre), Elizabeth, Dorothy (Roy), Christopher (Lucette), John (Nicole) and Cindy. Mom aka “Grammy/Great-Grammy” will also be deeply missed by her 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.Mom was a force of nature, the pillar of her family, the ultimate storyteller and a sweet and loving soul. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
The family would like to express their sincerest thanks and gratitude to the staff at l’Hôpital du Haut-Richelieu, for their kind and compassionate care of our Mother in her final days.

Also, a celebration of life for Mom will be held at a later date.
